PLEASE NOTE: To extract the 1GB links, you need to extract 1GB at a time.

when you download 1.4 and open up winrar, these are the patch files


This is "MY" fear 2 install screen shot below. Go you "YOUR' fear 2 install.
The files inside the Cracked "Game" folder goes into your game installed "Game" folder. ( only the crack files, not the crack folder)
All other files go into your Fear 2 install. blah blah/FEAR2 or what ever you named the folder during yoru install
Click yes to replace the files when asked

Hello again, finally found a solution. Then explained if it serves someone.
Problem applying patch 1.04: Starting FEAR2 loader appeared with the message "Could not start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
Causes: Check the Windows Event Viewer and found the following:
1-Resolve Partial Assembly failed for Microsoft.VC90.CRT. Reference error message: The assembly referred to is not installed on your system.
2-Not Found Microsoft.VC90.CRT dependent assembly and final assembly error referred to is not installed on your system.
Solution: Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++95 and reinstalling adding Microsoft Visual C++2008.
